DATA said "you lie to YHWH every time you come to this site".
LOL! I think Jehovah tolerates me coming to this site because it's the only way He can get me to do any research. I don't do much research normally.
But when I post things on a forum I want to be sure I'm being accurate, so I'll look it up.

Wife's FS report for last month... Zero!
by Captain Obvious ini could just be reading too far into this but... even with plenty of opportunities and time to go, she didn't seem to make it out last month.
last night she said she was gonna go out today (the 1st) but... she's downstairs at the moment sipping coffee watching tv.
a few weeks ago on the long drive back from the assembly we talked about fs.

Noah didn't make many converts either. Does that mean that his preaching was a waste of time? No, because preaching serves a dual purpose.
It also serves as a warning that Jehovah is soon going to intervene in the affairs of mankind, and those who are not prepared for it will probably not survive it.

Looking After Widows and Orphans... and Spending One's "Riches"
by AGuest into the household of god, israel, and those who go with... may you all have peace!.
from time to time the issue of how to fulfill the "form of worship that is acceptable to god," mentioned by james in his letter, namely, looking after widows and orphans "in their tribulation"... comes up.
given the issue of tithing, the plethora of institutionalized charity choices, and the existence of ones in need, perhaps in our own households and families... but certainly in our towns, countries... and around the world... how does one fulfill this requirement?

Loz said "too personally well proven to reject". That's the way I feel about my faith too. You just know it's right for you.

"the mess in the west"
by Hortensia inlast night the folks on the weather channell were referring to our rainstorm as "the mess in the west.
" they always have to have a catch phrase, don't they.
i understand oregon is getting dumped on, up to a foot of rain in some areas, but we're closer to the southern end of the storm and they say we're just getting a few inches.. anway, isn't rain glorious?

I'm referring to this storm as the "Pineapple Express" because it's coming from the direction of Hawaii :-)

Tell me which one you like best (if any)

I also like the Van Gogh piece. (I love his painting "The Starry Night")
I like how the music starts out simply and then builds as more instruments and "voices" are added.
I like the brief complex part in the middle of the music. (reminded me of Mozart)
I like the "tambourine" and the "flute" towards the end of the music.
Very nice :-)

Ex JW, Fader and 'Conscious Class' Map
by Mickey mouse inhttp://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?hl=en&ie=utf8&msa=0&msid=116388890922269468211.0004938b3329a3f3d0927&ll=54.876607,1.538086&spn=13.940068,39.506836&z=5.
i've created a map in google maps for people to mark their location, you don't have to put your real identity if you don't want to.. you need to sign in with a google account, click the 'edit' button and then drop a marker on your location.
add a photo if you like!.

It's very revealing how you group the 'conscious class' in with ex-JW's and faders.
